3 Million Members!
Wow, we just reached THREE MILLION members on Trakt! In the last 11 months, 1 million new people have joined our community which is about 2 signups every minute. We can’t thank you enough for all the support over the years and growing the Trakt community to what it is today!
We started Trakt in 2010 and launched a public beta that fall, focusing on XBMC (now called Kodi) users. Things really picked up in March 2011 when Lifehacker wrote an article about us. Check out Jimmy’s article for a peak into how we’ve bootstrapped Trakt into what it is today.
We’ve added a bunch of updates to the website since our last milestone including several helpful VIP features. There are over 10,000 applications built using the Trakt API, most free to use. We’ve been around for 7 years because of your amazing support and VIP signups, which directly fund Trakt and keep it running. Thank you!
